[Jesus said:] “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me.”
- John 14:1
Staring May 21st we are increasing our service size at both congregations to 25 people per service. We will continue to post recordings of the services, but it won't be on the website until Sunday afternoon. Please use the recommended spacing of 6 feet between family groups. We will still sanitize common surfaces between services. We ask that you continue to call in advance so that we don't end up with 60 people at the early services (we know that is the favorite).
The new Sunday services times are:
Bethlehem: 8:00am and 9:30am
St. John: 11:00am and 12:30pm
For the Ascension of our Lord, Thursday, May 21st, we will have one service at each congregation: 6:00pm at Bethlehem and 7:30pm at St. John.
Bethlehem and St. John are sister congregations in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. They have been in a dual parish arrangement since the 1950's and continue to walk together, helping each other and reaching out with the love of Christ to all in our community.
The dual parish office is located at St. John "High Steeple", six miles west of Edgar. Both congregations are served by the dual parish secretary, Sharon, and by Rev. Chad Schopp.
